The Self Filling Injection Device allows the physician to accurately deliver a dosage of tumescent anesthesia or saline to a patient from an IV bag. The device uses single disposable 3 cc BD syringes and a single needle. The device eliminates the need for multiple syringes and needles. This helps to reduce the risk of accidental needle stick. The device comes with a protective holder that mounts on an IV pole. The holder helps to protect the physician from accidental needle stick and allows for mobility about the surgery room. It is common to inject tumescent anesthesia or saline multiple times over the course of a single hair transplant procedure.
